Shelley Dawson and Peggy Pickens started this venture in 2006 with over 70 combined years experience in estate sales. Peggy started Pickens Auction Service with Ernie. Shelley worked for her parents and then her brother Gregg in the auction business. Peggy retired in 2012 from The Tag Ladies.
The majority of our sales have been held in Payne County but we have conducted sales in an historic area in Oklahoma City, Logan, Lincoln and Noble counties. We built a building to host tag sales for those who do not have a place to hold a sale or maybe not enough for a sale. Please note that we do not bring left over items from other sales to our building–each sale at the building has new estates that are moved in. We do not move/haul estates. We can certainly help you find a moving company. We typically have a waiting list for estates for our building sales.
